Here are the main points to memorizing anything:
1.) Your memory is built by association.
a.) The more recent the association, the easier the recall.
b.) The more vivid/unusual/silly the association the easier the recall.
c.) The more frequent you practice the association the easier the recall.
So, pay attention to what you are studying. Spend just a minute thinking about
the thing you are wanting to remember and associate it to something. The "tricks" for memorizing seem silly, but they are only necessary for
a while, and they work! Once the memory is in your long-term memory, you will no longer need the association as a crutch.
Another name for these "tricks" is mnemonics.
Our flash card software is great to help you visualize the things you are studying and to help with the repition.
You can upload pictures to see along with the question to be answered.
The cards are flashed in order by the ones you need the most work on. (ones you answer incorrectly the most)
